Section 3: Script writing
This section has links to two of my scripts. To open the PDF document you just hover over the image (Ie the smoking brick) and click on it, it should open in a new tab. If you'd prefer I just email over the PDF I can easily do that as well.

Section 4: Academic writing
The top 3 blog posts are essays I've written. 2 were written for uni assignments and one was written for a uni application to RCS over a year ago.
Section 5: Experience
WORK
Film Academy: 2019 - Present. I started as a student in 2018 before becoming an academy assistant. Since then I have also worked as a production assistant who helps with any and all technical aspects on set (Camera set up/takedown, Sound issues, Clapper, lighting, other on set things which require assistance) and I have also taught the 9-12's age group a couple of times.
UpIsNotJump: 2021. I was an editor for YouTuber UpIsNotJump who produced mini comedic documentary videos about current and past games.
On Set
Sleight of Heart (Neill Prentice, 2023) - Camera Assistant. This was made for the 48 hour film festival and as such many proverbial hats were worn by everyone, however, my role was mostly that of Camera Assistant and Gaffer. This included setting up and dismantling the track, being on the clapper, helping with the set up of the tripod, and assisting with the lighting set ups.
Portobello Town Hall (Stewart McConnell, 2023) - Filmmaker. This was created to raise awareness of a crowdfunding campaign by Portobello Central to get the town hall completed. It took about 2 weeks from inception to final edit and came out very good.
Is This The End (Callum Kelsey, 2022) - Director of Photography. I was the DoP for this film shot in Inverness for suicide awareness. It was mostly shot with a 50mm to give it a natural feel however many of the shots were distant and empty to emphasise how the characters were feeling. It's a film I'm very proud to have worked on and feel many of the shots came out great.
Creepshow (Miles Collins, 2021) - 1st AD. Created for a college project I was closely attached to this project from beginning to end. As well as 1st AD I also jumped onto camera, sound, lighting, clapper, and more. It is a film that I really enjoyed working on as well as watching, so much so I wrote an essay analysing it whilst at UHI.
